$1000IUCEE has the mission is to build an ecosystem for transforming engineering education in India with the assistance of engineering education experts and industry from around the world. One of the IUCEE signature programs is a certification program (IIEECP) for Indian faculty. The objective of the IIEECP is to provide engineering educators with the skills and tools to be effective teachers. Another signature program is Engineering Projects in Community Service (EPICS). After participating in a Design-thinking course, faculty accompany students to villages, schools, rural hospitals, etc. to discuss with local workers what issues they face that could be solved by an engineering problem.
