Toy/Blanket Drive

Shirdi Sai Parivaar would like to thank devotees who participated in the Toy and Blanket Drive.  For the Toy Drive, our initial target was to collect 100 toys (we placed 100 gift tags on the Christmas tree that was in the lobby) and donate it to Family Giving Organization.  Thanks to overwhelming response from our devotees, we received 150+ toys.  The tagged toys were delivered to the Gift Giving Tree program conducted by Family Giving Tree organization.  The toys that were untagged were provided to the Milpitas Fire Department Toy drive program.

Thanks to all our devotees, the Blanket drive was also a grand success.  As part of the drive, Shirdi Sai Parivaar received nearly 190 blankets.  The blankets were provided to homeless shelters in Sunnyvale, San Jose, and Newark. They were also provided to the Milpitas Food Pantry in Milpitas.
