NIE USA FOUNDATION
There has been a lot of work to bring together Alumni of NIE in USA since last year. Mr. Narayana Murthy and previous Principal and others toured some cities of USA and had few preliminary exploratory meetings.
Later we have established NIE USA Foundation in USA. It is a tax exempt charitable organization. The vision is to build a greater collaboration with Alma Mater and make NIE a premier institution in the changing times. Better infrastructure, research, collaboration with industry - multiple things are on the agenda.
The first inaugural happened on Dec 9th, 2017 at 3-6 pm at India Community Center Milpitas, California.
We also have a panel discussion on "Power of Alumni". Attendees include Kumar Malavalli, Founder of Brocade and Raju Reddy, another, founder and CEO of Sierra Atlantic.
